Science On Ice

Welcome

Back by popular demand, join the Miners for our Science On Ice  game. Learn the science behind the sport of hockey. As student athletes, the Miners, have found a way to combine their favorite sport while teaching students the importance of learning science. During the game, we will teach students about the process of creating ice, how hockey sticks are made and just how much rubber it takes to make a hockey puck.

The game starts at 11:00 am and will last approximately 2 hours. Tickets cost $7, which includes entrance to the game and lunch. Lunch will include a hot dog, milk and side. Lunch will be served during the 1st intermission and will be delivered to your students in the stands.

Following the game, we invite you to stick around and meet the players and our head coach, take pictures and get a few autographs.

Thank you and Go Miners!
